Some interesting personal testimonials....
"I must admit that I was very reluctant to attend this
workshop in the beginning as my weekend is very precious to me
(family time), what more 4+ hours. My husband even paid the
registration for me as a Birthday Gift. I am truly grateful
and thankful to have attended this extraordinary course for
the valuable survival tips and techniques provided might just
prevent me and my daughter from becoming a statistic. I
personally encourage all ladies, mothers and daughters to
attend this workshop. This is truly the BEST Birthday Gift
from my husband. Capt Bala, Michael & team, May God
Bless You & your families with an Enriching Life for what you
are doing for the ladies in the current times where such
crimes are on the rise. It’s no wonder why Michael could
give my husband the Money Back Guarantee if I did not benefit
from it. Well, good news Michael, my husband will not be
expecting a refund :-) and I will not hesitate to
recommend & encourage this workshop to all my family members
and girl friends. When is the next public session?"

Dear Michael, Bala & CST
team,
This
is definitely "The programme of the Century"!, the tips and
info are priceless. I would highly recommend this to all
ladies to attend at least once, though I think we
should attend as many times as possible until we absorb every
little detail like second nature ....(we tend to forget after
a while). With this knowledge it will better 'equip' us in
times of "red alert".
Thanks to your combined
effort to stir up the awareness amongst ladies. Keep up the
good work.

Hi Michael & team ,
I have heard so much from friends and family members alike with
regards to this particular seminar conducted by your Company.
Unfortunately I never had the ample time to participate until
last Saturday 18th Sept 2004 at Cititel Hotel.
I must comment that the seminar was presented in a well
coordinated manner, easy to comprehend and entertaining as
well. The trainer, Capt. Bala , deserves every bit of praise
for his dedication and passion for his work toward
enlightening and educating women from all walks of life on
today’s rampant criminal activities.
I would like to congratulate everybody for yet another great
Ladies’ Survival Seminar. I take this opportunity to
recommend this to all women to sit in at least once in your
life time for this seminar. It might just save your LIFE !
Take care and God bless the people who care!

Thanks for
the e-mail! I really enjoyed myself during the session
provided! And it's certainly not some boring talk or some
self-defense class where normal people can't do it!! Thanks
again!! This session has really taught me how to save myself
in ways I've never thought of!
May you
continue to save more ladies' lives and may GOD continue to
bless you all. Thank you Michael & Bala !!!

Hello,
The talk
was really informative and made me realise that we need to
protect ourselves well because we are all at risk.Overall it
was good, very light yet serious at the same time so it was
not boring at all.I would recomend all my remale friends to
attend your talk.Keep up the good work!

Hi Michael & Bala,
I am so glad that I attended this
course. Thanks to Tiang Siew who invited me to join his wife
and daughters in this course. Initially, I was reluctant to
attend as I am afraid that it could be very boring. But you
and Bala have proven me wrong. Bala taught many practical,
useful and valuable tips and information throughout the whole
course.
I am a very paranoid person as I have
been stalked by a stalker before. That incident has affected
me until today. I wish back then there are such courses
around, at least I would be more prepared.
Last but not least, I would surely
encourage all my girlfriends out there to attend this course.
Once again, thank you so much for organising such course.

Hie Michael,
I've received the mail. Thanks for calling that day to
follow up.
The whole experience was shocking as well as educational..
the solutions given throughout the course were simple to
follow and i would never have thought of those solutions in
times of crisis..
This course have made me feel more prepared for travelling
alone.
Thanks again to you and to Bala for caring for all the
ladies!

Hi Michael,
It was a wonderful session that we
had yesterday and I would recommend all my lady friends to
join the session. It was the most practical course I have
attended. I had attended many courses and in fact I was
thinking of skipping this one, although my sis was sponsoring
me for the course because I was going to attend another
training on the same day. My sister insisted that I should not
miss this one, and thank God the other training was postponed.
I guess I was meant to attend this
course (my sis actually was very worried about me because I am
exposed to these kind of dangers, having to go outstation and
overseas for work on my own, and staying out on my own.

Dear Michael & Bala,
Received mail.
The session was very informative and very meaningful. Learnt
a lot and am very glad to have been able to attend the
session. I am super paranoid due to some "sticky situations"
that I have been through and as such I can relate to the
course and not just look at it as a fun event.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks.

Dear Michael,
Thanks for the follow-up e-mail. Yes, I have your e-mail and
would like to be on your updated list for forthcoming events.
Michael, I thoroughly enjoyed last Saturday and Bala was most
enlightening. In fact, he was SUPER and was totally committed
the entire afternoon. Please could you let Bala know that I do
appreciate his pointers and that I would want to remember and
keep in my mind a lot of things that he taught us at last
Saturday's course.
I want to also say that I learnt a great deal from the course
and am hopefully wiser about my surroundings and in being a
better "city survivor" in coping with possible unforeseen and
unfortunate scenarios.
I truly felt that the course was most beneficial and worth
every cent the afternoon. Hence, it goes to say that I am so
glad that I attended your course. Thanks also to
Constance for introducing me to your course as I would not
have known better.
Thanks again.
Keep in touch. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Hi Michael,
You guys are a hoot! :) 2 emails in a
day too! Efficient! :)
I told my mom about the CST program so
who knows, maybe Malaysia Airlines can become a future client.
She spoke to Capt Wan this morning who invited her to the
session at Crystal Crown PJ. Getting her to go on a weekend is
the challenge though! :)
Again, thank you for a very
informative yet entertaining programme. For once I actually
postponed going to the WC as I did not want to miss anything
Capt Bala had to say! :)
Regards to Capt Bala as well.

Dear Michael
Greetings from Garden International School ! Thank you very
much for the very informative and entertaining session last
Saturday. My compliment goes to the trainer; the young, free
and single Captain Bala.
Just a short note to let you know that I have recommended this
training to our sister institutions, namely, Taylor's College,
Taylor's Business School and Sekolah Sri Garden. Please see
my email below. So if you receive a call from them, then you
know it is from our sister institutions.
Once again, million thanks and may you and Bala continue to
make this world a safer place to live in !!
Warm wishes

Hey Michael,
It was great catching up and I'm STILL
amazed by what you're doing. What a head turner!!! And what
a breath of fresh air.
In fact, if you don't mind... could you
see if you could squeeze me in to your Saturday's class this
weekend. Just checked my schedule... I'm only on standby
mode.... so what the heck!
Hear from you soon then
Cheers,
Cindy
Hi Michael,
How are you? Congratulations again in successfully helping so
many women out there in equipping themselves with knowledge of
self-defense. I spoke to my uncle (Sharine's dad) when i came
back from the states and he told me Sharine was really excited
about what she learnt and was talking about it non-stop. My
auntie is keen too for a session. I'm so glad i've referred
them and that they are referring and helping others out there.
Good luck on your coming sessions. I've also noticed that
you've changed your payment collection and reservation technic.
Good for you..think that's the best way to avoid irresponsible
cancellations and headache!
All the best. Hope to catch up one day. Take care.

Dear gal friends,
I have recently attended the above workshop. I would say is a
life saving work shop as it make me realized that v are not
train and prepare to safe guard ourselves. Being a lady. all
my friends that know me I m a very careful and cautious
person. 1 important thing that i learn from the workshop is to
prepare your mindset in case of emergency. Multiple scenarios
will be showed on slides.
So my daer friends, pls make time for it as I value all of
you. Your safety is at my concern.
Regards,
Juliana

Hi Michael,
It's kind of delayed, but better late
than never: Thank you guys for organizing such a useful and
informative training for all we foolish ladies!
Basically, to my mind, we females are
rather foolish and gullible to some extent though we pride
ourselves that we're armed with knowledge from whatever
source. It's not surprising that even the 'smartest' or 'most
intelligent' of the female species end up at the receiving end
all those crimes. be it robbery, con jobs etc.
Ha! Ha! Please keep this to yourself lest
the other females feel I'm a traitor to the species for saying
this.
You can be sure I'll tell more of my
friends about the training. I do get frustrated when I see
'the kind of look' on their faces when I tell them about
it...they're just like your potential participant going for
facial.
Keep up the fantastic effort,
Dr Linda.
hi
michael
I attended
the seminar on 'city survival' - 6.3.04.
I find
the seminar an eye-opener and could prove useful for us
(ladies).. at least I'm wide awake & alert during the session
compared to other seminars I've been to.
have been
passing round the pamphlets and encouraging my girlfriends to
go for it (as i can now personally vouch for the seminar).
have
a good day.

Dear Friends,
Please
take some time to go through this email and consider attending
this workshop on City Survival for ladies. This is not a spam
mail and neither is it a profitable thing. I must admit when
I first received the email , I did not pay much attention to
it due to workload but luckily for me, my kind sister took the
liberty of enrolling us. I have totally no regret attending
the workshop eventhough I thought I was quite well informed
when it came to being careful. Let me stress once again, I am
not profiting from your attendance but feel that it is
necessary for us ladies to take care of ourselves with all
these maniac out there.
I
strongly recommend that if you're a lady that cares about
yourself to take some time off to attend this very beneficial,
informative and entertaining talk! Trust me, you will not
feel the 4 hours at all.
Poli.
Thanks
Mic,
I
am really greatful that you can organise another session on
this topic. It was definitely an eye opener, and of course,
good things are meant to be shared among your family and
friends, besides, there are really too much crime out there,
hopefully I can do my bit to reduce the possibility of it
happening, at least not to the people I know.
Dear
Michael
Just thought
I drop a quick email to thank you for inviting us on Saturday
and to congratulate you on an extremely successful session. It
was a real eye-opener for my mum and me, has made us think of
things we normally take for granted. Please also pass our
thanks and appreciation to Bala and his team.

G Morning Michael & Capt. Bala,
Just got back from leave.
Thank you for your quick response and all tips you have given,
hopefully I will remember the whole load of it. Shared it with
my daughters and they were equally amazed with the kind of
work and assistance rendered to the public. Sorry to hear
about yr bruises but with more sessions with MISC I am sure it
will toughen yr knee/shin he he he.
Bye for now and thanks again.

Dear Mike & Capt. Bala,
My teenage daughter who is studying in Melaka has used her
pepper spray once to a 'flasher' who was 'waiting' for victims
near her hostel gate recently! But according to her she
didn't press it hard enough (1st timer!) but still that guy 'lari
lintang pukang' after being sprayed!! I cannot thank you
enough for sharing the valuable tips with us and especially on
when to use a simple thing like the pepper spray.
Keep up the excellent work guys.
Kindest regards,
Raja Noraini
Hi Michael
Thank you for your e-mail. Please let Bala know that he did a
wonderful job of entertaining the ladies while getting the
serious message across. The gory slides were a bit disturbing
though, so much so that my secretary Celes had trouble
sleeping when she went home.
I think all ladies should attend this course and will certainly send
my daughter to one when she is of age (... she is only 6). In
any case, I have passed the pink flyer to my sisters and
nieces and have encouraged them to attend. You will probably
see them on Saturday.
All the best.

Hi Mike
Thanx for yr mail, and thanx again for your call on Sat. And I
want to tell you again, how appreciative I am of your care &
concern - to get feedback on the session.
Not only I enjoyed the session, I learnt a lot which I
couldn't find in any text book. I do karate too... (still
beginner though) for the exercise and the self-defense. What I
found from the course is --- the best defense is still the
brain -- have common sense and BE SMART!
I bought 2 units of personal alarm gadget --- one for me and
one for my friend (lady) as her birthday present. Not only she
appreciates it, she appreciates it a lot too!
Let me know of your next public session. I would like to join
again as a refresher.
Best regards
Ruhaini
Hi
Michael,
Yes, the last session was superb!
I
learned a lot! Bala did a good job by explaining why
such crime took place (eg; rape, murder, theft, etc) and also
the consequences if we ladies are not prepared.
Anyway, I just wish that you can extend the session to a day
program instead of half-day program for future training.
Well, let's hope that I get a chance to meet you and the team
again with my colleagues. Our SHE team is preparing a proposal
to have the safety briefing at our workplace for ladies based
on my feedback on OSH City Survival Training.
Keep up the good work! I'm sure the ladies who have attended
this training will value it.
Regards.

Hi Mike
Thank you for
your personal follow-up in respect of the last seminar on
Saturday. I personally think that I am fortunate to be one of
the participants in the seminar presented and organized by
yourself and Bala. This seminar has provoked my
awareness on safety every split seconds, especially when we
are in the 'yellow' or 'red' zone.
Pls keep your
effort ongoing and may this valuable knowledge be shared with
other LADIES!

Dear Michael,
Thanks for the session last week. The course is indeed
invaluable as it serves a s a reality check to all the women
participants on the "ugly" side of life. However, the team did
a great job in educating us on the best way to safeguard
ourselves. Though no means a guarantee that we'll be safe, it
is still a comfort knowing that we can at least try to evade
the "red situations".
Thanks again to Bala & yourself.

Dear Michael & Bala,
I've received your e-mail, thanks. I'd just like to say that I
enjoyed the training immensely - both of you are definitely
natural born speakers and very knowledgeable in your field!
Attending the training made me reflect on the state our
society is in. How can there be such horrible people in the
world? And we always tend to think that it will not happen to
us, always to someone else...but I've realised this is not
always true. I just pray that I will never have to go through
what all those women had gone through.
I find myself more alert now to the potential dangers around
me...I'm slightly paranoid as well - but like you said -
better paranoid than dead right.
As for the skeptics - there's one in my office who said she
has read everything from the internet - I would say there's so
much more out there that can be learned through your training.
There's nothing like hearing real-life stories and seeing
pictures, etc. I would definitely recommend this course to
others. And there are of course the SURVIVAL TIPS you taught
us which cannot be learned effectively through the internet.
There's just one thing that's been at the back of my mind -
you showed us the various personal alarms & door alarms - I
was just wondering how effective they will be knowing how
Malaysian society is - the "tidak apa"
attitude - if an alarm goes off, whether anyone will bother
checking if it's a real emergency or just dismiss it as
another car alarm which accidentally went off (which happens
about 10 times a day in car parks).
Anyway, all in all, I give you top marks for your noble
efforts in coming up with this training and keep up the good
work! And keep those updates coming....
Thanks & warm regards,

keep me on your mailing list for latest updates.
I would just like to say how enlightened, practical and useful
I've found the City Survival session. It's also very
interesting yet real and serves well to create awareness that
is so essential for our safety in this evil world. I
certainly enjoyed and have benefited much from the session and
have no hesitation to recommend that every girl and lady
should attend.
Once again, I would like to thank Bala, your good self and

your noble efforts - keep up your good work!

Hello and good morning to City Survival Team (Michael and Bala
especially).
Thanks for the email, I really appreciate it. Just want to
tell you guys that I really having fun and it's the most
precious experience while attending your program (even though
it's only a 4 hours program). This program has made me more
alert and extra extra extra careful while I’m in the yellow
and the red zone environment. Fyi, I'm now practicing all the
technique that you have thought us in the lessons, and I’m
sharing the information with my sisters and all my
girlfriends. Once again, thank you so much for organizing such
a perfect program for working women like us.
Keep up the good work.

Hello Michael.
I was in your last session on the 17th.
I have no regrets in attending the session. Bala is a great
speaker! It was very educational and it keeps me paranoid all
the time now! I am aware of the techniques and skills when
alone or in the 'zones'!
I told my sister in law about you and Bala giving MISC this
program.
She said she would like to know more to get you come to her

Just say if it is possible, provide me with your contact
details and I will inform her as well as contact you direct.
Thank you again for the knowledge and awareness you and Bala

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your mail. I would like to inform you that it is
my pleasure to be in your mailing list for other new City
Survival tips or new development.
This City Survival program has really opened up our eyes on so
many matters around us (we are not even aware of some of
them). As mentioned by Bala time and time again, we ladies
have to be street smart, to be always alert and aware of our
surrounding. I really enjoyed Bala's presentation of all the
gruesome news and also the useful information during the
program in his very comical manner. It was not boring at all
and through his way of presentation, I think most of us could
remember and absorb most of the information in the program.
Please convey my appreciation to Bala for sharing his
knowledge and experience with us.
Thanks again and have a nice day!

Dear Michael and Capt. Bala,
Thank you so much for your e mail. Attending the course has
made such a difference in the way I go about with my errands
and chores. The course was also timely as I am currently home
alone and I found the tips you gave very, very useful.
Although it got me worried after seeing what CAN go wrong (and
believe me, imagination runs wild when you're alone!) I
appreciated knowing where danger may be lurking as we go about
doing our seemingly 'mundane' routine. I think the lesson
learnt is that we should NEVER take things for granted -- and
be aware always!
I do wish we had more time to practice the basic 'evasive
maneuvers' that you taught us during the course as I found
these moves simple but that I needed to get used to the
movement so that they would come naturally and without
hesitation if I encountered a 'red-zone' situation.
I am so very glad that I attended this course and would
encourage all ladies, young or old to attend this course. We
may not be 'lady-Rambo' but we are AWARE and thus, can
PREPARE!!!
Please keep my address and details (as below) on your
database. I already
have your number on my hand phone in case of emergency.
Thank you for educating us and making us feel safer in this

Dear Michael & Bala,
Thank you for your mail and hope you and your team are always
in good spirit and health.
The session last week was really refreshing and enhances my
awareness on the need to be extra vigilant and alert to
safeguard our safety. Having a daughter myself, I can
empathize with the agony each mums and families of the girls
who had fallen victims to all those perverts & criminal men.
The tactics and insights you shared with us were indeed worth
sharing with all women folk.
I look forward to receiving updates on current safety issues
from you and wish your team all the best, always.

Hello, Michael.
So sorry for taking so long to reply to the acknowledge
receipt mail, but I have been away and only returned today.
My comments on the City Survival program is that, it was an
excellent course and I think all of you did very well in
communicating the vitality of being aware of the people around
you - even for those whom you think you know. Many of the
accidents that happened could have been avoided and it pays
not to take people as well as things for granted.
I read the book by Anne Rule, "The Stranger Beside Me" where
she wrote about Ted Bundy. At the time when she was writing
the book, she was also researching along with the police to
find the murderer of the increasing number of women being
murdered in the State. The unnerving part was finding out the
man who was working along with her in a voluntary helpline
service was the very man they were looking for. I can't
remember exactly what she said about her experience, it's been
quite some time since I read the book, but it was something
along the lines that she would have never suspected him
because he was always this sweet guy working next to her
consoling people, offering a sympathetic ear, lending his time
to help counsel others in need. And then, BAM! He, Ted Bundy
was discovered and become a legend until today.
Anyhow, I would like to say that you and Bala did a great job.
It's people like you and those who assist you who make the
difference, doing your bit to make the world a better place.
With that, I offer you my humble thanks.
Words cannot explain the impact the course has made on me
personally.
All the best for the future, and I know your team will keep on
improving as you go. Do keep us posted!

Dear Michael,
My apologies for this late response to your request. First and
foremost, I would like to say "Bravo!" to Bala and the team
for the session. To be honest, I was one of those skeptics you
mentioned in your mail. I attended it simply to get away from
the office. But what a revelation! I am one of those who
sometimes take it/safety for granted. Although I am cautious
of my surroundings but more often then not I am in a mindset
where "this won't happen to me" and that "i won't
panic"...until I attended the session. I realize these
attackers pry on opportunity, the second you are
careless...that's when they strike. Thank you for making me
realize that we have to be prepared for all eventualities and
the last thing we need to do is panic. I really enjoyed the
last bit of the session - the self defense.
Thank you for making the session available to the ladies.
We can never be too cautious.

Dear Mr. Michael & Mr. Bala.
I received your e-mail today.
Before attending your programme, I think this programme is not
very useful to me but I'm wrong. This programme actually gives
a very good knowledge to me and I enjoy attending your
programme that day.
Thank you very much coz sharing your knowledge with us.
Rgds.

Dear Mr.Michael and Mr.Bala
menyertai city survival.
Dear Michael/Bala,
I
acknowledged receipt of your mail with thanks. After attending
the survival team I went home disseminating/sharing the
knowledge with my sisters/nieces so that they know how to
survive/handle difficult situations.
I
would also like to suggest to both of you to extend/share your
expertise to schools on the awareness of safety for children
which I highly recommend for their attendance for such a
programme such as this.
From the files that you shown us most of the victims are
mainly youngsters/teenagers & most of them don't know how to
react or handle themselves when caught up in a "disaster". As
the proverb says "prevention is better than cure"
Hope that god will always bless you for all your good deeds.
Thank you/best regards,
Nms
Dear Michael and Capt Bala,
I enjoyed the session so much and I gained a lot of benefit
from it. Among other thing is the way we treat the third class
group of people. All this while we don't realize that we
always treat these people badly and unaware of the
consequences. From now on, I'll be more careful in the future
and I will definitely remind my family, especially my
children, on this.
I am wondering whether is there any such program targeted at
primary school children as I intend to send my 7 years old
daughter. It is very difficult for us parents to explain to
our young ones on how to differentiate bad people with the
good one. Nowadays, there are a lot of sex crime cases
involving young children and the culprits are normally those
who are known to them such as teachers, grandparents and so
on. How are we going to warn them to be careful with their
relatives or teachers? These are the people that they trust!
Furthermore, children today are very smart and they will ask a
lot of follow-up questions which are very difficult and
sensitive to explain. My daughter is that type. Unlike during
our time where we just obey what our parents instructed us to
do.
I hope you get what I mean. Appreciate if you can advise me on
the programs or any useful tips to handle such situation.

Rosma
Dear Michael
First and foremost, my children and I wish to thank you,
Captain Bala and your team for organizing this special
training for all ladies. Without your team's effort and
concern for the community, most the ladies are helpless and
lost. At least, we are able to know how to defend ourselves
during emergency. The session is very informative, effective
and most ladies are not aware how to defend themselves should
such a crime happen to them. At least after the training,
there are so many ways that we are able to defend ourselves.
At least now, I do not have to nag so much.
After observing them yesterday morning when we went out
shopping, I am rest assured that they are able to take care of
themselves if they walk alone from bus stops or school. Why?
They were holding the pepper sprays in their hands now.
Before the training, I have told them to carry pepper spray
but they just leave it in their bags. With constant training
at home on the 'flying kicks' it will improve oneself better.
I will share this knowledge with all ladies.
You guys have done a great job to help others. Very proud of
you and we always say that 'Commitment is always Towards
Excellence'. You did it.
Once again, thank you so much.
best regards

Good
morning Mike,
Since I am early in the office today and cannot have
breakfast (puasa) might as well attend to your e-mail
immediately. Thank you so much for yr e-mail. Alia (my
daughter) and I really enjoyed last Saturday's session.
Before we attended the session we were wondering how we are
going to survive for 5.5 hours. Expecting it to be boring but
you and Bala have proven us wrong. It was very educational
for me and I am glad my daughter enjoyed it too. Certain
things said by a mother are not easily acceptable by a
daughter but whatever she learnt from City Survival seems to
sink into her head. I am glad we attended the session. Would
be grateful if you could let me know when you organize such
session I have my other daughter and daughter in law to
enroll. Last but not least thank you so much for a wonderful
Saturday afternoon.
Thank you.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the e-mail.
I enjoyed last Sunday's training session. Bala imparted many
valuable tips and information. Before attending the session, a
friend of mine asked me if I wanted to purchase a pepper
spray. Anyway, I told him not yet - maybe later...because I
wanted to see if you guys could provide more info on this. And
sure enough, Bala and you gave a guide on how to select and
buy a good pepper spray.
Also, Bala is a very good public speaker. The session was not
boring or anything, and time flew by really quickly.
Thanks and best regards,

Hi
Mike
Thanks a million for organizing such an indispensable
training. It was a realy eye-opener for me. Many a time,
I take my own safety and that of loved ones for granted. From
your session, I learned. Your tips are all so practical and
useful. Will know what to do in time of need.
I will definitely refer my sisters, loved ones and female
friends to your future workshops. Please keep me posted!
Thanks again, to you and Bala. You Go, Guys!

Dear Micheal,
Good morning...
The session was a real eye opener for me. You gave us hard
facts & made the world looked very unsafe. But you're right,
better paranoid than dead.
We need to be on our toes all the time & hopefully will be
able to handle any situation better.
I enjoyed our punching & kicking session very much. Do fwd me
the relevant info for the company & school training. Will
pass it around & put a good word. I definitely think all women
will benefit from the talk.
Cheers,

Hi
Michael,
I'm glad I attended the
session last Sunday in Tmn Tun. When I think abt it, I must
have been in the red zone many times, but I was lucky that
there were no people that could harm me then.
Overall, I think it's a
very interesting and entertaining session, because Bala
presented it so well. However, seeing the photos of the
victims wasn't entertaining at all! It really drives home the
point that it's really a very unsafe world out there and we
have to be street-smart to get out of some dangerous
situations.
Thanks to you
and Bala for a GREAT city survival session.

Hi
Mike,
When Judy
first informed me of the talk, I was quite reluctant to attend
as it is a Sunday and the talk will last 5 hours. You see, I
normally spend my weekends with my husband and daughter. But
I kept telling myself that I must learn how to manage this
sick world on my own and share the same with my maid and
daughter.
I am glad I
battled with my own conscience and attended the talk. I must
say Capt Bala has increased the level of awareness on self -
prevention and self-protection against criminals. I want to
say this - thank you for sharing your research and tips with
us; keep going and continue to share with us.....the world is
going crazier....
A safe and
pleasant day to you and your team-mates...
Cheers,

Dear Bala and Michael,
First of all,
thank you for conducting this training. I did not know this
kind of trainings are available nowadays...All the while my
friends and I have been sharing stories on how to protect
ourselves or from the papers and that is where we learn to
"survive". This training had increased my awareness that
I should remind myself again and again never to take things
for granted.
My friends and I
agreed that these problems happened because some of us made
ourselves "easy targets". Ignorance is not bliss when it comes
to self-protection. All the amount of self-defence learned
will be of little use when we have a mindset, thinking that
"it will never happen to me".
By now, we have
been through some experiences which we "survived" from the
public transports, flashers to "secret admirers" following you
home etc, etc. I wish I had learned this when I was younger so
that I know how to handle some of these situations.
As for Bala,
I applaud your passion in helping people which could one day
save my life or the lives of my love ones. Although I prefer
to have some notes, your ideas are easy to understand, clear
and logical . And fun too, though I wished more time are spent
on practical training so I can learn to throw a few more
punches to you guys and learn some acting skills.....
In my
opinion, it would be a good idea to wrap up the programme with
a summary of the points and ideas given during the
presentation. Keep it up the good work, you have a great
passion and a good programme to help people.
God bless.
Best regards

Greetings!
First & foremost, thank you very much, Captain Bala & Michael
for conducting the City Survival Training. When i received the
invitation for this training, I registered without hesitation
because I believe that danger lies everywhere and this
training would be very useful and comes pretty handy.
I would strongly recommend my girlfriends and my sisters & my
mum to attend this training if opportunity arises. All the
tips especially the (censored) & the taxi situation are
brilliant. Therefore, I would appreciate it if you continue to
update me on the latest and future trainings.
Thank you, once again!

Hi,
City Survival Training was a very good training for ladies to
gain their knowledge, experience and self confidence. I want
to say thank you to the trainers for giving so much efforts to
help ladies. This training gave a big implication to my life.
I learned a few things that man can use to against and intent
woman.
This is the story.
Before I broke up with my ex-boyfriend, I found something in
his car. One small bottle of colorless liquid. This bottle
looked like perfume but the liquid has no odor. I asked my
friends what kind of things is that but none of my friend
know.
I am still wondering about the liquid until I attended City
Survival Training. During the training, Mr. Bala showed us so
many types of liquid and pills that normally used to trap
woman and one of the things looked like the bottle that I
found in my boyfriend’s car. The conclusion is, don't easily
trust guy even your boyfriend.
Mother, sister, all ladies should attend this kind of training
because it's not only can help you but also to your
siblings/daughter/girlfriends.
Thank you very much,
Letchumi.
Feedback ... first, it was very much
better than I thought it would be, largely thanks to Bala's
wonderful speaking skills. It was a long day, yet he managed
to hold our attention 100% every minute, yet without
trivializing the seriousness of the whole thing. Not any easy
task, so hats off to Bala.
Secondly, it was also a timely and sharp
reminder that it is not only the risk of physical rape and
violence that we face daily, but also the possibility of
"rape" of our privacy and dignity as human beings. The session
went a small way towards balancing off the generally unfair
advantage held by those without morals or scruples.
Thanks, guys

Dear
Michael and Bala,
I
must say that the session conducted by both of you were simply
superb. It really created awareness in each one of us on our
safety in our own ways. In fact, I am now so paranoid when I
am walking at lonely areas. Well, I guess, as rightly said by
you "better be paranoid than dead". I do hope that I will
continue to be aware of my surroundings at all times. Thanks
for the tips on how to survive in this city where risk is
everywhere especially for us ladies.
What
amazes me most during the session was that the fact that you
'men' have really taken a great effort to do a detailed study
on how to protect us 'women', when in actual fact, you don't
need to take the trouble as it does not concern you.... My
recommendation is that each and every woman should take the
trouble to attend your session and in fact, there should be
follow up sessions continuously for us to keep reminding us on
our safety. Sometimes, we human beings tend to take things on
a lighter note as time passes...
Once
again, thank you to both of you...............

Hello
Michael
Thanks for
the wonderful session. I have told a few other women about the
tips and are asking them to approach their office to organize
this for the ladies.
It
definitely has a very strong impression on me and gave me the
fear of GOD on what is really out there. Needless to say I had
a few sleepless nights thinking of the evil out there!
Thank you
and Bala again for sharing this secret with us.
Warm

Good afternoon Michael, Bala & the team
Yes indeed the session was a fruitful
useful practical knowledge course for any lady whether one is
an exponent or a sweet young lady.
The session was made interesting with
Bala's humorous, natural imitation of the "general happenings
& behaviours" of the human species. An added edge of the
course is the alerting of one to be retrospective in all
aspects of our surroundings.
Last but not least the short practical
exercises were good for the feel and with active consistent
practices; one should be calm enough to face the challenge
with less fear hopefully.

Dear
Michael
It
was indeed a well done seminar. I usually start fidgeting
after an hour when I attend seminars; testimony goes to show
that I did not fidget during the City Survivor Seminar.
Thanks much for showing me what is actually happening in the
outside world today (that it ain't a rosy place to live in).
I believe whatever happens, happens for a reason but after
attending City Survivor Seminar I decided to change my believe
to better to be safe than sorry (I have become very
cautious). My parents were impressed with me when I mentioned
I attended this Seminar.
I
wish we had more time but beggars can't be choosers. What I
learned that day is enough to start me to be extra cautious.
Thanks again.
Cheers

Dear
Michael n Capt Bala,
Kudos to the both of U!!!,
for coming up with the City Survivor Training. It has been an
eye-opener for me.
Hats off
to
Capt Bala
for not only conducting an informative and valuable session
for woman of all ages, but also by making it interesting with
his insights and jokes.
I've
suggested to the head of the Safety Dept. to have this
training for all the female staff in the company. You should
be hearing from them soon.
Once
again, thank you for caring enough to do something about it.
It’s people like you who make the world a better and safer
place for us to live in.
May God shower you with 'his' blessing always!!!

ASSURES US THAT HIS ANGELS ARE ALWAYS READY TO HELP.
THIS IS WHAT MATTERS."
Forever Grateful,
